For two years a member Joe Raydenbow thought how cool it would be to walk the cross through town in some type oif procession around Resurrection Sunday time. A new member (John Shweppes) to FHCC who came in from the 2012 PGF outreach heard the request the second time and actually made a cross- full size. He personally walked it around town weeks before Resurrection Sunday. When he found out we were going to move our normal food fellowship and open study time up to Tuesday for a Lord's Supper remembrance he suggested a Cross Walk for any of FHCC who would like to go to Coe park for prayer and a recounting of the the message of Jesus sacrifice and its meaning. Several of us from FHCC went on the Cross Walk to Coe Park and Pastor Michael did a recounting of the last days event of Christ before the resurrection. Many prayed for revival and deliverance for people of Torrington. We look forward to doing this again next year.

This is our second Christmas Eve Lunch meal in the soup kitchen. We cooked for and  served 80-90 people. We had a full band put together by FHCC. It consisted of people from FHCC, NHCC and PGF music ministry people. We even had guest singers come up from the crowd. An attendee of the soup kitchen event told me it was the best day of his year. God is the great encourager. Praise God!
