This year's Praise God Fest was the best attended yet. It was estimated that there was a constant crowd throughout the day of over two hundred people. People representing twenty two churches were present. And there were also eleven pastors present. Eight hundred and fifty hot dogs were eaten, and 150lbs of ice was used to serve the public with snow-cones.
The healing and prayer team ministry reported that four people accepted Christ and several others were seeking more information on the Christian life. Praise God!
Freedom Hills Christian Center (FHCC) had two new people come and visit due to information from the PGF.
FHCC now has a church telephone number and will be in the yellow-pages. The new telephone number is 860-482-8338.

Greetings,
We held a Christmas meal at the Torrington Food kitchen for those people who did not have a place for a Christmas celebration. We served a meal, and sang carols. We plan on having this annually. If you would like to be blessed by participating in this offering to others in need please call. Your ideas, decorations, singing abilities, serving abilities, and donated items for the event are appreciated. Come and experience the joy of the love of God and make Jesus and others smile.
We scheduled this event to begin around 11:00am and to be completed shortly after 3:30pm so people can prepare for their family celebrations later.
God fill you and your christian body with His Holy Spirit. May your family experience the love and joy of Jesus Christ this coming season.

Greetings,
Today's Sunday morning service marked a new beginning for FHCC. We will be meeting 10:00 am, on Sunday, from now on for our weekly Worship service. We hope to move to worshippping soon at Southwest School in Torrington for Sunday Worship. Please pray about advertising this move so God's offerings are put to the best use and produce fruit for God.
We are continuing are sermon series in "Living the Christian Life" throughthe letters of Peter. Today we covered "Living Lives in the Freedom of Christ". We have covered so far: "What does it mean Born again?"; "Be Holy"; "Fear God and walk Humbly before God"; "Love in our Marriage"; "Love among the Brothers"; Loving People of the World"; and "Becoming Living Stones". Next week we will be talking about "Seeking Peace and Pursing it Earnestly".
We are also moving ahead in our Wednesday night study with "What does Jesus command us to do?". Brother Glenn McMahon is facilitating this study. Please feel free to bring any interested person to this study. We stop for all questions.
